A rare and exciting opportunity to join Mars Snacking as the Stockroom Coordinator has become available, we are excited to welcome a self-motivated individual who can drive improvements across our Stockroom.
You will be essential in strengthening and maintaining a progressive approach to maintenance. You will be focusing on materials/spares availability, implementing standard stockroom practices and integrating maintenance tasks plans with SAP.
You will be reporting into the Technical Manager, working alongside a motivated and action orientated team to drive improvements across the Ballarat Mars Snacking site. You will have an excellent understanding of Manufacturing, Stockroom control, Maintenance spares and SAP.
What you’ll do:
- Accountability of stockroom condition as well as satellite stockroom areas, implementing and maintaining stockroom standards.
- Manage inventory to support a breakdown methodology, minimising both physical and financial footprint.
- Monitor, report and maintain stockroom KPIs to best in class standards.
- Support preventative maintenance with the integration of Stockroom and PM workflow management.
- Document all changes and work in the relevant database for equipment history and knowledge capture/transfer.
- Work collaboratively with Reliability, Engineering and Production team members to ensure business continuity in all production areas.
- Support new technology, system implementation and automation to improve store efficiencies.
Your unique ingredients:
- Extensive experience in maintenance/high speed manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in SAP or equivalent maintenance management system experience.
- Understanding of maintenance requirements and store management principles
- Good Data Collection and Analysis skills.
- Excellent Verbal Communication.
- Ability to be accountable to meet commitments.
- Forklift license essential.
