About the Role:
The Bank Tavern is a classic, community-focused local pub in Kogarah. Because we are a smaller, tight-knit venue, our team members wear a few different hats! We are looking for a reliable, versatile Casual Bar & Gaming Attendant to look after our guests and keep our floor running smoothly.
This is a true dual role designed for a smaller venue environment. On any given shift, you will seamlessly transition between pouring drinks behind the bar, looking after our gaming lounge regulars, and making sure every customer feels welcome. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, attentive service across both the main bar and the gaming room.
- Pour beers, mix basic drinks, and maintain a clean, tidy, and well-stocked bar area.
- Manage day-to-day gaming lounge operations, ensuring premium customer service and cleanliness for our regulars.
- Accurately handle cash, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and machine float reconciliations.
- Maintain strict compliance with NSW Liquor & Gaming regulations, including RSA and RCG protocols.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 6–12 months of experience working in a NSW hospitality environment (Pub or Club preferred).
- Prior experience handling both bar service and basic gaming floor duties is highly regarded.
- Valid NSW RSA and RCG cards (essential).
- A reliable team player who is comfortable multitasking between the bar and gaming lounge as needed.
- Excellent communication skills and a knack for building genuine rapport with our local regulars.
- Good availability for weekday, evening, night, and weekend trade.
