To enhance our team, we are currently looking for Personal Care Assistants or Carers, who are positive, organised and energetic team players.
Our lovely facility consists of a 52 bed aged care unit, 30 bed secure high care unit, 59 independent living units and home care service. Our management and staff are committed to ensuring all our consumers receive the highest standard of care with both medical and personal needs considered.
Your role will include, however not limited to:
Providing assistance to our consumers with daily living activities including bathing, dental hygiene, dressing, grooming, and personal care
Willingness to work as part of a team proving effective personal care in a safe manner tailored to each consumer's needs
Support the consumers dignity, choice, and independence
Ensure the consumers security, privacy, and value their diversity and culture
Complete accurate and timely documentation and report relevant information to Registered Nurses and Managers
Maintain effective communication in the workplace, being respectful, open to change, and kind in your approach
The Skills, Knowledge and Experience which are advantageous:
Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or equivalent) or relevant Aged Care experience
Current Flu Vaccination or willing to obtain
Current COVID-19 Vaccination
Valid Police Check or willingness to obtain
