About the Role
As the Communications Coordinator at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, you'll contribute to a broad range of communications activities, including media relations, event management, social media, videography, internal communications, and strategic communications. You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills across multiple communications disciplines while supporting meaningful initiatives that showcase the people, services, and impact of RMH.
You'll be part of a collaborative and supportive Communications team where creativity, fresh ideas, and continuous learning are encouraged. We love sharing ideas, working together, and bringing great stories to life. As a small team with broad reach, we play an important role in showcasing our people, celebrating achievements, and connecting our workforce and community.
Key Accountabilities

Plan, design and deliver compelling social media content

Engage important internal stakeholders via our meaningful internal communications channels

Help tell stories in the media that educate, inform and inspire

Develop a suite of generalist communication skills in a high performing team

Help facilitate events that engage and connect people
About You
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual early in their career who's eager to learn a suite of new skills across a range of key functions. Broad communications experience across multiple channels and audiences is advantageous, as well as:
