About the role
Join our Core Laboratory team as a senior Technical Officer and apply your technical expertise to support laboratory operations, projects and service delivery. Working both independently and collaboratively, you will provide technical advice, contribute to project outcomes and help ensure equipment, processes and procedures meet operational requirements and quality standards. Multi-disciplinary experience is desirable. Inclusive of Haematology, Biochemistry, Coagulation, Morphology and Blood Bank.
This is a varied role where you will use your problem-solving skills and technical judgement to support laboratory activities, prepare reports and recommendations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. You may also provide guidance and supervision to team members while helping deliver safe, efficient and high-quality services.
About You
You are a proactive and technically skilled professional who enjoys solving problems and supporting quality outcomes. You bring strong laboratory experience, excellent communication skills and a commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Diploma, Advanced Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Experience in laboratory operations and troubleshooting
- Prioritise workloads and deliver quality outcomes
- Supervise, train and support laboratory team members
