About the Role
Vision Disability Services is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Disability Support Worker to join our dedicated team on a casual basis. This role requires availability for passive overnight shifts and an immediate start.
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling, independent lives within their community while providing high-quality, person-centred support.
Minimum Requirements
✔ Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent
✔ Current Working With Children Check
✔ NDIS Worker Screening Check
✔ First Aid, CPR & Manual Handling (or willingness to obtain)
✔ Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
✔ Reliable, roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance
✔ Unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence
IT & Administration Skills
✔ Basic computer literacy and confidence using technology
✔ Ability to complete shift notes, incident reports, and documentation electronically
✔ Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) or similar software
✔ Ability to use smartphones, email, and mobile applications for communication and reporting
✔ Strong attention to detail when maintaining participant records

✔ Previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
