Due to recent expansion, we have a vacancy for an Industrial Engineer to join our team.
The role is to provide support to the engineering team for the following areas:
· Analyse existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
· Establishing work measurement programs and analysing work samples to develop standards for labour utilisation
· Analysing specifications for manufacture, and determining materials, equipment, piping, material flows, capacities and layout of plant and systems
· Design and implement quality assurance protocols for consistent production processes.
· Recommend improvements in the efficiency of operations: Suggests changes to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource usage.
· Ensures compliance with quality, environmental, and safety regulations: This
· includes monitoring and enforcing adherence to relevant standards and legal requirements.
· Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams.
· Train personnel on QES standards: Educate staff on quality, environmental, and
· safety practices to foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
· Maintain and enhance ISO certification status.
· Conduct safety audits and training to foster a culture of safety.
The successful candidate should hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar and have full work rights for Australia. The applicant should have at least 2 years PQE experience in a technical manufacturing & sourcing solutions engineering environment.
Pay: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
