Diplomatik is working with one of our values clients in Kalgoorlie who is seeking a Trades Assistant for their local Kalgoorlie workshop.
The role is casual, ongoing for the right candidate, starting ASAP. Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 6am to 4pm.
Responsibilities:
- Use of machinery to sharpen drill bits
- Washing of drill bits
- Unpacking and repacking bits for dispatch
- Housekeeping of the machine area.
What you will bring:
- Manual Drivers Licence - Essential
- Excellent knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy pieces of equipment, as well as stand for hours at a time
