The role
The Customer Onboarding Team at Crown Sydney supports membership sign‑ups while ensuring all regulatory and compliance requirements are met. This is a 12-month maximum term, Part-time opportunity, supporting the team during a period of transitioning operating hours.
As a Membership Specialist , you will be a frontline point of contact for casino members and guests, managing onboarding activities and delivering a professional, welcoming customer experience in a luxury environment.
What you’ll be doing
You will support the day‑to‑day membership sign‑up function, balancing customer service, data accuracy and compliance.
Managing membership sign‑ups and onboarding in line with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
Verifying customer documentation, completing data entry, and maintaining accurate records and reporting across multiple systems
Providing attentive and professional customer service, handling enquiries, resolving issues, and navigating complex or sensitive conversations with care
Maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times, and escalating matters where required
Participating in team briefings, training and compliance updates, and following CrownSAFE health and safety procedures
This role operates across a fixed roster aligned to business needs. Shifts will include evenings and weekends, with late finishes required.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will:
Be a fluent Mandarin or Cantonese speaker (essential)
Have reliable availability to work weekends and evening shifts
Have strong system and computer skills, with accurate data entry and attention to detail
Deliver high‑quality customer service, balancing warmth and professionalism
Be comfortable managing challenging conversations in a calm and respectful manner
Communicate clearly and professionally in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment
Demonstrate a strong teamwork ethic and enjoy working collaboratively
Be able to obtain and maintain required Casino Employee Licences, including probity and credit clearance
Knowledge of AML/CTF, KYC or Privacy requirements is advantageous but not essential.
