Are you an experienced Sales Manager looking to reduce your full-time hours, or perhaps looking to get back into the workforce? If you are an efficient & hands-on sales leader, then this could be the perfect role for you.
Code Camp is seeking an experienced, hands-on Sales Manager to lead our Schools Sales Team, and we're building real flexibility into it from day one. Three full days a week works. So does 10am–3pm across four or five days, if that fits your week better - school pickup, another commitment, whatever it needs to work around. Either way it lands at roughly 25 hours a week; you tell us which shape suits you and we'll build the role around it.
About Code Camp
Code Camp is one of Australia's leading providers of technology and creative educational programs for kids aged 5–13, delivering after-school programs and school holiday camps in partnership with schools around the country. Real programs, real classrooms, real impact - not an abstract sales target.
The role
You'll take ownership of our Schools Sales Team - currently a small, capable group of sales staff who identify, approach and sign up new school partners for Code Camp's after-school programs and holiday camps. This is a hands-on leadership role, not a strategy-from-a-distance one: you'll be in the pipeline with your team, not just reviewing dashboards.
What you'll actually be doing
Lead the team day to day, set clear targets, run a weekly sales rhythm, and coach individuals.
Improve how we identify and prioritise the right schools, refine outreach and messaging, and tighten follow-up so good prospects don't go cold.
Make sure newly signed schools get a smooth start, work alongside our Marketing team to drive strong initial enrolments, before handing over cleanly to Account Management.
Be pivotal in securing and embedding a CRM for a small team and turn it into the source of truth for pipeline, activity and forecasting.
Present concise, useful reporting to Senior Management on activity, conversion and results (the "why," not just the "what").
What you'll bring
Proven experience managing a small sales or business development team, ideally B2B.
A track record of actually improving how a sales team performs - not just maintaining it.
Confidence in implementing or upgrading a CRM and building repeatable process from scratch.
Strong coaching instincts - you enjoy getting into someone's pipeline and calls, not just their numbers.
A pragmatic, outcomes-first approach that suits a small, fast-moving organisation over a large corporate one.
Experience selling into schools, education, EdTech or children's services is a bonus, not a requirement.
What we can offer you
Flexibility in setting up the work week in a structure that suits your lifestyle.
A remote work pattern, coming into the office fortnightly/monthly to build relationships with stakeholders and the Account Manager.
A genuine leadership seat, sized to fit your week rather than a "mini" version of a full-time role.
A fixed salary - you're paid for leading and improving the team's performance, not chasing a personal number.
Birthday Leave & EAP program.
Monthly social drinks/events.
Discounted Cluey & Code Camp services for friends and family.
Sound like you?
If you've done the full-time sales management grind and know exactly what good looks like - but want a role that fits around your life instead of consuming it - we'd love to hear from you.
