Strong organisational and scheduling skills, with the ability to prioritise and coordinate competing landscape maintenance activities to meet service standards and deadlines.
Demonstrated effective communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to prepare work programs, schedules and work order documentation, while maintaining accurate records and data, including asset and inventory information, and undertaking basic reporting and analysis.
Proven ability to liaise and coordinate with internal trades, contractors and suppliers, including managing site access, permits and security requirements.
Experience in procurement and financial administration, including purchasing, goods receipting, invoice reconciliation, cost monitoring systems and use of platforms such as Concur (or similar).
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to a proactive workplace health and safety culture while upholding the Parliamentary Service values of commitment to service, ethical behaviour, respect, accountability, and impartiality.
Qualifications and/or knowledge of landscape/horticultural practices and WHS requirements, particularly in relation to planning and scheduling works, including SWMS and PPE considerations.
