As a Qualified Horticulturist, you'll play an important role in maintaining exceptional outdoor environments to the highest presentation standards. You'll work alongside a skilled team and may have opportunities to provide guidance and support to junior team members.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Mowing, edging, pruning, hedging, mulching and weeding
- Garden and landscape maintenance to premium presentation standards
- Planting, seasonal garden displays and landscape enhancements
- Identifying and treating plant pests, diseases and nutrient deficiencies
- Operating and maintaining horticultural tools, machinery and irrigation systems
- Supporting turf renovation and improvement projects
- Assisting with task coordination and mentoring within the team where required
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and efficiently
We're looking for a passionate horticultural professional who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in delivering exceptional results.
To be successful, you'll have:
- Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens (essential)
- Practical experience in commercial or high-end horticultural maintenance
- Strong plant identification and garden maintenance knowledge
- Experience operating horticultural equipment and machinery
- A proactive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A current driver's licence
- White Card and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
