You will understand our client’s need to bring maximum value, impact, and innovation to the market as you oversee the delivery of client engagements for data and AI initiatives.

We are seeking a AI Delivery Lead to lead the successful delivery of AI and Generative AI programs across enterprise clients. This is a pivotal leadership role accountable for translating AI strategy and design into high quality, scalable, and value realising AI Solutions, ensuring delivery excellence across complex, multistakeholder engagements.
The AI Delivery Lead is responsible for end-to-end delivery ownership of AI and GenAI initiatives, including program mobilisation, execution, governance, risk management, and value realisation. The role partners closely with AI GTM Leaders, Architects, Product Owners, and Client/Business Partners, to ensure solutions are delivered on time, on budget, and at expected quality and business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end delivery of AI (incl Agentic & Gen AI) engagements, from initiation through to production deployment and ongoing optimisation.
- Lead complex, multiteam delivery programs spanning data engineering, AI/ML, Gen AI, Agentic, data platforms & data security.
- Establish delivery governance, milestones, delivery cadence, and reporting in line with Capgemini’s delivery excellence framework.
- Proactively manage delivery risks, dependencies, and issues, ensuring early intervention and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure solutions are production ready, scalable, and supportable, working closely with engineering, MLOps, LLMOps and platform teams.
- Act as the primary delivery interface for senior client stakeholders, providing transparency, confidence, and actionable insights.
- Lead and inspire cross functional delivery teams including data engineers, AI engineers, solution architects, UX, and change specialists.
- Coach junior delivery managers and scrum masters, building AI delivery capability within Capgemini Australia.
- Work closely with strategic technology partners across cloud and AI ecosystems (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenAI, Databricks, Anthropic, Mistral, etc).
