About the role
Deliver high-level physiotherapy services within the Pelvic Health Service, providing expert assessment, treatment, pessary management, case management and discharge planning for patients referred to the GPSC. They will manage a complex caseload with advanced clinical judgement, contribute to inpatient and outpatient service delivery, and support the development of best-practice procedures that enhance patient outcomes. The role involves effective collaboration across the multidisciplinary team, providing clinical advice to supervisors and stakeholders, and maintaining strong communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Deliver high level physiotherapy clinical services including assessment, treatment, and prognosis, pessary management, case management and discharge planning for patients referred to the GPSC, as part of the Physiotherapy Pelvic Health Service, and in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
Contribute to the overall Physiotherapy Pelvic Health Service caseload, including inpatient and outpatient services (including classes) as required.
Apply professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
Undertake high level physiotherapy duties within the Caboolture Physiotherapy Pelvic Health Service with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision.
