Strata Community Insurance (SCI) is building practical, trustworthy AI capability to work smarter for our teams and customers. We're looking for an AI Specialist to design, build, and ship AI agents and applications that solve real problems - with genuine ownership from idea through to production.
This is a hands-on, build-focused role. You'll partner with Business and Support Analysts, Product Managers, Delivery Leads, and our Quality Assurance Engineer across all six product teams in our Customer, Data and Technology function, turning ideas into working, well-governed AI solutions.

Integrate AI solutions with SCI's Policy Management, Claims Management, and Data Intelligence platforms
Design and run evaluations to measure agent accuracy, reliability, and safety
Help shape SCI's responsible AI standards, data handling practices, and guardrails
Coach other teams on safe, effective AI use, and build reusable prompts, templates, and documentation
Use Git Enterprise, Azure DevOps, and Azure services to deploy and maintain solutions to a professional standard
What you'll bring
2–3 years' experience building AI or software solutions, ideally including LLM-based agents or applications
Hands-on experience with Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Microsoft Foundry
Practical skills in prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), MCP server integration, and tool calling
Working knowledge of Python and experience using APIs and SDKs
A mindset for measuring AI quality through evaluation, not assumption
Sound judgement around data privacy and responsible AI in a regulated environment
A relevant qualification in computer science, software engineering, data, or equivalent practical experience
