The Lucky Charm Warwick is a well-established franchise newsagency located in the busy Warwick Grove Shopping Centre. We are looking for a reliable, friendly and responsible Casual Shop Assistant to join our team.
We are a small, supportive team consisting of two supervisors and several shop assistants. We value teamwork, provide excellent customer service, and take pride in creating a welcoming shopping experience for our customers.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must be available to work at least 3 flexible weekday shifts (Monday to Friday). Shifts are generally 3–5 hours, for example:
- 8:30am – 12:00pm
- 12:30pm – 4:30pm
Flexibility to work across different weekdays is essential.
Minimum 1 year lotto product experience is required. Previous retail working experience is highly preferred (2-3 years preferred).
General retail duties
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail, especially when handling cash and Lotto products
- Merchandising stationery, gifts, magazines and other products
- Stock replenishment and rotation
- General store presentation and cleaning
Pay & Conditions
This position is classified under the General Retail Industry Award. Employment conditions and casual hourly rates will be paid strictly in accordance with the Fair Work Ombudsman guidelines.
Hourly rates vary depending on age, classification and experience. Applicants are encouraged to refer to the Fair Work Ombudsman website for the current Award rates.
Pay: $34.76 – $41.72 per hour
