Hungry Italiano is looking for a qualified Sous Chef to join our kitchen leadership team in Terrigal.
We're looking for a chef who can lead from the front, maintain standards, support the team, and help deliver consistently great food in a busy, fast-paced environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role working closely with ownership and our senior kitchen team.

- $85,000–$100,000 + Super (based on experience)

- Help drive consistency, systems, training and food quality

What We're Looking For
- Qualified Chef with previous Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie experience
- Strong understanding of Italian cuisine, including fresh pasta, traditional sauces, woodfired pizza and high-volume service
- Ability to lead a team and confidently manage service under pressure
- Excellent organisation, communication and time management skills
- High standards of cleanliness, food safety, preparation and presentation
- Someone proactive who takes ownership, shows initiative and takes pride in their work
- Strong attention to detail and consistency across every service
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset — no ego, no drama, just great hospitality
- Ability to train, support and motivate junior kitchen team members
