As an experienced Fitter, you will be joining a specialised team dedicated to maintaining and repairing heavy haulage trailers and components. If you are a Fitter looking for a long-term opportunity, working a 4-day roster at a highly competitive rate, this is the position you have been looking for!
Your key responsibilities:
- Service and repairs to a range of customer trailer types (Swingwings, Steerables, Low Loaders & Deck Wideners).
- Major overhauls in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications
- Perform mechanical repairs including braking systems, suspensions, and other components
- Conduct regular service interval inspections and quality checks
- Adhere to safety guidelines and promote a culture of safety within the workshop
What we are looking for:
- Mechanical Trade Qualification (light or heavy)
- Previous experience in heavy equipment repairs and servicing
- Knowledge and experience working with hydraulics
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
