Reef Seafood & Sushi is a premium seafood restaurant and retail destination in Gasworks, Newstead. We're a small, hands-on team that cares about quality seafood and making customers feel welcome. A real interest in seafood, fishing or hospitality is a great starting point — the right attitude matters more than a long list of previous roles.
The Role
- Serving and chatting with customers
- Food and seafood preparation
- Keeping displays and service areas clean and well presented
- Learning to handle, prepare and present seafood
- Learning to shuck oysters
- Supporting the team wherever needed during service
What We're Looking For
Customer service is the most important part of this role. You might be a good fit if you love seafood or fishing, take pride in being helpful and reliable, and are happy doing practical hands-on work.
What You'll Learn
Seafood handling and preparation, oyster shucking, product knowledge across fresh seafood and sushi, and how to confidently help customers choose seafood.
Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
