About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to develop accurate forecasts, optimise inventory, and support S&OP processes.
You will analyse sales and market data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide insights and reporting to improve forecast accuracy and support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Forecasting

Build and maintain statistical forecasts using SAP, scan data, and market insights.

Analyse and cleanse historical data to predict future demand.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Sales and Marketing to align demand forecasts

Manage demand profiles for deletions, product changeover, promotions and new product launches.

Work closely with Supply Chain and Production teams to ensure operational alignment.
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)

Contribute to S&OP process with clear insights and recommendations.

Prepare monthly forecast accuracy scorecards and reports to support S&OP process.
Process Improvement & Reporting

Improve forecasting methods and accuracy.

Produce reports on KPIs, demand variability, and forecast performance.

Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
Inventory Management

Monitor inventory levels to minimise stockouts and overstocking.

Provide recommendations to optimise inventory levels.
About You
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Demand Planning, S&OP or IBP
-
Experience in using SAP/APO/GIB
-
Advanced Microsoft Excel capability with strong analytical skills working with large data sets

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including presentation and training
- Relevant tertiary qualification preferred.

Background in FMCG or Manufacturing environment
