In this pivotal role, you won't just manage- you will coach, mentor, and develop a dedicated team of Support Workers. You’ll keep our team feeling supported and valued, ensuring they are equipped to deliver outstanding, client-centred care every single day.
How You Will Make an Impact:

- Coach & Empower: Act as a hands-on mentor, guiding and upskilling your team to provide a great client experience where respect, personal choice, and connection are at the core of every interaction.
- Collaborate for Success: Partner seamlessly with Care Partners, Clinicians and Scheduling Officers to promote client independence while upholding Aged Care Quality Standards.
What You’ll Bring
- Certificate IV in Community Services, Health, Administration, Business or Leadership, or extensive experience in a similar role
- Minimum three years’ experience in a team leadership position, preferably within aged care or community services
- Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed teams, including casual staff, with a focus on accountability and performance
- Experience using CRM systems, electronic rostering tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- High-level interpersonal, customer service, and relationship-building skills
Key Leadership Capabilities
- Demonstrated ability and proven track record in leading, mentoring, and supporting a community-based team, promoting accountability and professional growth
- Ability to work effectively across the business to deliver integrated, client-centred care
- Proven focus on delivering a Great Client Experience, ensuring client dignity and choice
- Experience in leading and investigating Support Worker-related incidents and feedback, including client follow-up
- Ability to track metrics to demonstrate compliance, inform workforce planning, and support continuous improvement
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Strong knowledge of the Community Aged Care/Home Care sector, legislation, accreditation, and Support at Home reforms
- Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, CHSP, SAH, TCP, and SCHADS Award requirements
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise, problem-solve, and make effective decisions
- Proven ability to influence outcomes through high-level interpersonal and customer service skills
- Experience using electronic rostering systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with a willingness to adopt new tools to support best practice
- Commitment to professional development, continuous improvement, and delivering care with compassion
