Experienced Cook required for Pasture of Balmoral, Mosman $79,500 plus Super
What you would be doing
The role includes:
· Preparation of dishes from our menu including entrées, mains, desserts
· Maintaining an inventory of ingredients & stock,
· Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen in accordance with OH&S regulations;
· Supervising kitchen hands and apprentices as required.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for candidates with the following attributes:
· Able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays
· 3 years experience in a similar role
· Relevant hospitality qualifications would be considered favourably
· Creative, and passionate about food and providing high standards of food service
· Positive attitude and ability to thrive under pressure
About the employer
Pasture of Balmoral is a busy Restaurant and Café situated on The Esplanade, Balmoral Beach. Our aim is to provide a unique coffee and food experience. The focus is on superior customer service enhanced by an inviting, modern, stylish but relaxed interior design. We offer a fresh, healthy “ breakfast and lunch menu” with a relaxed smart -casual” dinner experience. We only use high quality locally sourced produce. We are open seven days a week. Dinner is served three nights per week (Friday to Sunday).
