The Opportunity
Veolia ANZ is seeking an experienced Plant Operator / Technician to join our team in Fairfield 2165. This role will ensure the effective and optimal operation and maintenance of our Recycled Water Treatment Scheme. The primary objectives are to meet all required quality, reliability and safety targets.

What you'll be responsible for
Operate and maintain recycled water treatment plant to meet contractual KPIs
Monitor plant operations via SCADA systems and respond to alarms
Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions
Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and equipment overhauls
Participate in on call roster and after hours plant monitoring
Maintain accurate records using CMMS and business systems
Supervise contractors and manage work permits Ensure compliance with WHS and environmental requirements
Conduct sample collection and laboratory analysis
What you'll need to be successful
Electrical trade qualification
Water operations experience preferred
Electrical and general maintenance experience
