We're on the hunt for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and continue delivering an exceptional food offering in this busy, community-focused venue.
About the Role
As Head Chef, you'll take ownership of all kitchen operations, including:
Leading, mentoring and developing a high-performing kitchen brigade
Managing labour, stock and cost of goods
Delivering exceptional food quality and consistency
Driving a positive and accountable kitchen culture
Maintaining food safety and WHS compliance
Managing rostering, ordering and kitchen financial performance
Creating memorable dining experiences for locals and tourists alike
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume venue
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent understanding of kitchen financials and cost control
A passion for quality food and team development
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
