You’ll be responsible for fitting, repairing, balancing and rotating tyres, performing wheel alignments, and providing excellent customer service. This hands-on role offers plenty of variety within the workshop.
Key Responsibilities
- Fit, balance, repair, rotate and inspect tyres on passenger, 4WD, light truck and agricultural vehicles.
- Perform wheel alignments in line with manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct tyre pressure checks and visual inspections to identify wear, damage or alignment issues.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness, safety and equipment in good working condition.
- Accurately record job details, parts usage and work performed.
- Assist with stock control and ensure correct labelling, storage and disposal of tyres.
- Deliver excellent customer service through professional conduct and clear communication.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures and environmental standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Tyre Fitter
- Current manual driver’s licence (HR or forklift licence a bonus)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Reliable, honest, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety and customer satisfaction
