About the role
The Senior Tennis Coach – DITC role is based full-time at the Darwin International Tennis Centre “DITC”. The Darwin International Tennis Centre is operated by Tennis NT. At the Darwin International Tennis Centre we offer a variety of programs across all ages and skill levels including Hotshots, school tennis programs, holiday clinics, Adult Beginner and Cardio lessons and private lessons.
To be successful in this role you will have:

Prior teaching and tennis coaching experience across all ages and skill groups (preschool through to adults)

A Tennis Australia Trainee Coach or the commitment and ability to acquire a Junior Development Coach (level 1) qualification within 12 months

Senior First Aid including CPR qualification (or be willing to obtain)

Good knowledge of Tennis, and the Australian tennis pathway

Racquet gripping and stringing experience (or ability to learn)

A current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain)

Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis NT
