Security & Flyscreen Door Fabricator (OVERTIME OPPORTUNITIES)
Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Security & Flyscreen Door Manufacturer to join our friendly team.
This role involves the fabrication and assembly of custom-made security doors, flyscreen doors and associated products, ensuring everything is manufactured accurately and to a high standard.
We are a small, family-run business and are looking for someone who wants to become a valued part of our team rather than just another number.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture and assemble security doors and flyscreen doors to custom measurements.
- Cut and prepare aluminium frames and components.
- Install flyscreen mesh, security mesh, locks, handles, hinges and other door hardware.
- Read and follow job sheets, measurements and manufacturing specifications.
- Accurately measure, cut, drill and assemble materials.
- Use hand tools, power tools and manufacturing machinery safely.
- Carry out quality checks on completed products.
- Prepare completed products for installation or delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop.
- Assist with receiving and organising materials and stock.
- Work with the team to ensure jobs are completed accurately and on time.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in security doors, flyscreens, aluminium fabrication or similar manufacturing is highly regarded but not essential.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read measurements accurately and follow job sheets.
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual and organised.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physically capable of handling doors, aluminium frames and materials.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Experience within the security door, flyscreen, window, aluminium or building industry is an advantage; however, training can be provided to the right person.

Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 38.0 per week
