With 360 Health and Community as the lead agency, headspace Fremantle, headspace Rockingham and headspace Mandurah provide safe, accessible and youth friendly environments where young people can engage with a range of mental health services and supports.
As a General Practitioner consulting within one of our headspace centres, you will deliver comprehensive primary care in a well supported, purpose built setting. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside Social Workers, Counsellors, Psychologists and other service providers, contributing to coordinated, person centred care for young people.
Our centres operate from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, with extended hours until 6.30pm on selected days. Flexible sessions are available, up to 7.5 hours per week, allowing you to structure your practice in a way that suits your availability.
Remuneration is based on 100% of Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) bulk billing receipts.
Essential Criteria
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and current Vocational Registration with the AHPRA
- Eligibility for full Medicare billing
- Commitment to ongoing Continuing Professional Development
- Professional indemnity insurance of no less than $5 million per claim
- Demonstrated ability to provide person centred, non-judgemental and culturally safe care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and across community services
Strong interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage respectfully and effectively with young people, families and carers
