Security Guard – Gatehouse Duties
Location: Central Coast, NSW
Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week
Employment: Part-time
We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Security Guard to join our team for gatehouse security duties on the Central Coast.
This role is suited to someone who is professional, well-presented and confident dealing with visitors, contractors and site personnel.
About the Role
The position will involve providing security and gatehouse duties, including:
- Monitoring and controlling access to the site
- Checking visitors, contractors and vehicles entering and leaving the premises
- Maintaining site security and following established procedures
- Completing visitor and security registers
- Using a computer for basic site administration and reporting
- Reporting incidents or security concerns as required
- Providing a professional and friendly presence at the gatehouse
This is a gatehouse/security position – there is no club or nightclub work involved.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Current NSW Security Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Previous security or gatehouse experience preferred
- Good computer skills and confidence using computer systems
- Own reliable transport
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Professional presentation and a reliable work ethic
- Ability to work independently and follow site procedures
