Salt ‘n Battered is a family owned and operated takeaway business operating on the Sunshine Coast. With stores in Alexandra Headland, Mudjimba, Nambour and Palmwoods. Salt ‘n Battered is a favourite among locals and tourists visiting the region.
We are hiring Kitchen Hands / All-rounders to work across one or multiple locations.
This position will involve preparing simple meals, basic food preparation, engaging with customers and working in a supportive team environment.
Experience in hospitality is neccessary. However, we provide comprehensive training to all new team members. We ensure you are equipped with the skills, knowledge and confidence required to complete any task given to you.
Our dedicated training staff provide mentoring and are focused on your success as a team member. We have fostered a comfortable, relaxed and friendly work environment that operates efficiently and effectively by the standards and expectations set by our team leaders.
We offer flexible hours to suit most schedules. Our shifts start from 10:30am and finish around 8-9pm (this does not mean every shift is this length. this is an indicator for the hours you may work).
***This position is ideal for a university student or someone who has recently left high school, graduated, or someone seeking part-time hours.***
The successful candidate may:
- Have a license with regular and reliable access to a vehicle
- Have any form of experience in hospitality
The succesful candidate MUST:
- Be available for weekday, weekend, and night work. Including Friday and Saturday from 5pm onwards.
- Be available in busy periods (school holidays)
- Be willing to work approximately 20+ hrs per week, depending on availability
- Be available to work across all FOUR locations
This position is immediate start and not seasonal. Our aim is to support our team members with hours that suit their needs.
