Who you are
You are a digital marketer who enjoys making every customer interaction more relevant, timely and effective. You understand marketing automation, lifecycle engagement and audience segmentation, and you are confident transforming campaign and customer data into practical improvements.
You are also a skilled communicator who can tailor content to different audiences and stages of the customer journey. With strong organisational skills and attention to detail, you are comfortable balancing multiple priorities, working independently and partnering with stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes. What you'll do
As our Marketing Automation Coordinator, you'll design, deliver and optimise automated campaigns that engage prospective students and support conversion outcomes. You'll lead audience segmentation, lead nurturing, campaign automation, performance reporting, and ongoing optimisation across digital channels. In doing so, you will:

Develop, implement and optimise marketing campaigns across email and web channels.

Create and monitor automated customer journeys, conversion activities and integrated email nurture programs.

Manage marketing automation rules and audience segmentation to deliver personalised communications.

Design lead management capabilities, including lead scoring, lifecycle journeys and nurturing activities.

Analyse campaign and customer data to identify insights and improve engagement and conversion outcomes.

Undertake continual experimentation and quality assurance testing to improve email open rates and lead conversion.

Develop dashboards and performance reporting frameworks that provide actionable insights.

Use platforms including Eloqua, GA4, Google Tag Manager and Siteimprove to evaluate digital engagement initiatives.

Advise and support stakeholders within the Engagement team on digital customer engagement and user experience initiatives.

Ensure customer data is captured and handled in accordance with consent, privacy considerations and legislation.

Maintain, document and support training in the University’s marketing automation capabilities.
What will help you succeed
To thrive in this position, you will have:
-
A relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, communication or a related discipline and at least four years of subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Experience developing, implementing and optimising digital marketing campaigns, conversion initiatives and customer journeys.

Capability in audience segmentation, lead nurturing and lifecycle marketing.

Strong digital content creation, editing and copywriting skills.

Experience with marketing automation, customer relationship management, web analytics or related marketing technology platforms.

The ability to analyse data, identify trends and apply insights to improve campaign and conversion performance.

Experience creating performance reports and dashboards.

Knowledge of digital channels, web technologies, analytics and user experience principles.

Strong project management, prioritisation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience using Oracle Eloqua, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Siteimprove will be highly regarded. The role may require travel between UniSQ campuses.
