As an Engineering Specialist (Navigation), you will support the operation and maintenance of mission-critical navigation systems that enable safe air navigation services. You will investigate complex technical issues, contribute to system improvements, and support installation, testing, and deployment of system changes across communications, navigation, and surveillance domains.
Working within the Aerodrome Platform, you will collaborate with engineering, operations, and project stakeholders to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient outcomes. The team takes pride in maintaining high-performance systems that underpin Australia’s aviation safety

You are a technically capable problem solver who thrives in a collaborative, safety-focused environment and enjoys working on complex, real-world systems.
- Demonstrated experience in applying engineering practices, Experience with radio frequency (RF) engineering is desirable but not essential.
- Strong ability to analyse and resolve complex technical issues
- Experience supporting system improvements, integration, or change management
- Effective communication skills and ability to work across teams
- Tertiary qualification in aeronautical, aerospace or electronics Engineering (or equivalent) and eligibility for Professional Engineer registration
