About the Role
As an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of electrical and instrumentation systems across our oil and gas facilities. Working within a collaborative maintenance team, you'll perform planned and breakdown maintenance while contributing to continuous improvement and plant reliability.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance, fault finding and troubleshooting on electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operations.

Complete maintenance activities using the CMMS, maintain accurate records, and support equipment reliability through effective planning and Management of Change processes.

Demonstrate a strong commitment to HSEQ by complying with all site procedures, participating in ongoing training and competency development, and promoting a proactive safety culture.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential Qualifications

Unrestricted Northern Territory Electrical Licence.

Certificate III or IV in Engineering (Electrical/Instrumentation).

Electrical Equipment for Hazardous Areas Awareness.

Current C Class Driver's Licence.

Current First Aid, CPR and Low Voltage Rescue (LVR).

Confined Space Entry & Working at Heights.

Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) (preferred but not essential)

TBOSIET with CA-EBS. (Preferred but not essential)
Experience
-
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar Electrical & Instrumentation Technician role.

Experience within the oil & gas, hydrocarbons, chemical processing or manufacturing industries.

Experience working in remote, onshore and offshore environments.
-
Proven ability to diagnose and rectify electrical and instrumentation faults.

Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
