Do you want to help secure Victoria's energy future? Are you comfortable with ambiguity, anticipating emerging challenges and helping government prepare for an increasingly uncertain world?
As part of a profound global transformation in energy systems and infrastructure, Victoria is modernising the way energy is generated, transported and consumed through evolving, more distributed technologies. At the same time, emergencies, global factors, changing patterns of demand and rapid technological change are creating new risks and opportunities, requiring governments to think differently, adapt quickly and prepare for the future.
The Energy Security Policy and Preparedness team strategically navigates these matters. We help government anticipate emerging challenges, strengthen the resilience of Victoria's energy system and prepare for future disruptions, while supporting the state's transition to a secure, reliable and resilient energy future. We are building a team that is adaptable, collaborative and intellectually curious. Whether you are starting your policy career or are an experienced practitioner, this is an opportunity to work on issues of genuine state significance and help shape decisions that will influence Victoria's energy future for decades to come.
