Your key responsibilities will include:
· Develop and execute organisation‑wide strategic procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
· Participate in developing and reviewing technical specifications for procurement frameworks, policies and best practice initiatives.
· Identify cost‑saving and process‑improvement opportunities across the end‑to‑end procurement workflow to enhance overall operational efficiency.
· Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable contract terms.
· Analyse market trends and supplier performance to identify, assess and onboard new products and qualified suppliers to continuously optimise supplier base.
· Establish and maintain structured supplier performance evaluation frameworks, conduct periodic supplier reviews and resolve supply‑related disputes and non‑conformance issues.
· Monitor supplier performance, ensure contract compliance, oversee quality inspection, and coordinate timely delivery of materials and products.
· Provide performance reporting, commercial analysis, and expert recommendations to support informed business decisions. Collaborate closely with finance, operations and warehouse teams to monitor procurement spending, support budget control and maintain complete procurement records and contract documentation.
· Lead and develop the procurement team, providing guidance, managing performance and driving continuous improvement. Lead supply‑chain risk management, develop contingency sourcing options, and ensure procurement governance complies with company policies and Australian commercial requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Diploma or higher qualification
· A Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a procurement manager or a related role.
· Demonstrated track record in developing and executing strategic procurement frameworks, managing end-to-end sourcing activities, and delivering cost-effective, value-driven commercial outcomes.
· Strong commercial acumen with expertise in complex contract management, supplier negotiations, specification development, and identifying innovative sourcing opportunities.
· Proven ability to manage supply chain risks, drive supplier performance management, and ensure robust quality assurance and delivery metrics.
· Outstanding leadership skills with a history of mentoring, guiding, and managing direct reports to foster a high-performance culture aligned with business objectives.
· Competent in building collaborative cross-functional partnerships and long-term strategic supplier relationships.
Pay: $135,000.00 – $145,000.00 per year
