About the Position
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Project Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role presents an outstanding opportunity for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in the commercial fitout industry while honing their skills in project management.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with estimators, architects, and site teams to ensure that projects stay within budget, progress seamlessly, and adhere to high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and analyze project plans and specifications to determine material requirements.
- Assist in collaborating with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather the necessary information.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate records of estimates, budgets and materials for projects.
- Manage the process of preparing and purchasing materials.
- Conduct site measurements and coordinate on-site activities, liaising with subcontractors and the project manager.
- Support the team in identifying cost-saving opportunities and value construction solutions.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, SketchUp, and Photoshop is desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Requirements:
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written) is essential.
- Previous experience in the interior fitout industry or design background is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across diverse teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail and proficient time management skills for multitasking.
- A proactive team player with a problem-solving mindset.
