- Coordinate the delivery of external communications across the City's digital channels, including website, social media and e-newsletters
- Lead, coach and support team members to achieve high-quality communication outcomes.
- Develop, publish and manage engaging content aligned with the City's brand and strategic objectives across website, social media, e-newsletters and other digital channels.
- Support community engagement and consultation projects through effective communications.
- Monitor digital channels, identify emerging issues and respond to social media enquiries.
- Prepare monthly communications and engagement performance reports and use insights to improve channel effectiveness and engagement.
- Plan and deliver data-informed digital communication initiatives to promote City services, projects and events to external audiences.
- Maintain the City’s CMS, co-ordinate its network of web champions and act as the first point of contact for the City’s digital agency.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and deliver content opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to improve digital communications processes, systems and customer experience.
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing or a related discipline.
- At least five years' experience in communications with a strong focus on digital communications and social media.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating digital communication strategies and campaigns.
- Experience leading or mentoring staff and coordinating multiple priorities.
- Experience supporting community engagement or stakeholder consultation initiatives.
- Exceptional written communication, editing and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of digital communications, social media platforms, trends and analytics.
- Experience using content management systems and digital publishing platforms.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Canva.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative approach with a commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.

Salary package:
In line with the City of Subiaco Inside Staff Industrial Agreement 2025, this position is classified as a Level 8. The salary range is $126,477.00 to $135,088.20 per annum, exclusive of superannuation
