MacKellar is continuing its partnership with Aeris Resources, located near Nyngan, NSW. As we expand operations across the region, we’re seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our high-performing maintenance team on a 7/7 rotating day and night roster.
This is an opportunity to secure long-term work on a new mining project with strong site leadership, and a team focused on safety, reliability, and getting the job done right.

About the Role
You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of heavy earthmoving equipment to ensure maximum fleet availability and safe operation across site.
- Carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults
- Conducting inspections and preventative maintenance activities
- Maintaining accurate service and repair records
- Working safely and effectively within a production mining environment
About You
- Relevant Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle Trade Qualification
- Previous experience working within mining or heavy earthmoving environments
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
- Current Driver’s Licence
