The Nursing and Midwifery Education and Research Unit (NMERU) provides a recognised reference point for the educational and training support to nursing and midwifery staff within the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service (CHHHS). The Nursing and Midwifery education team support the professional development of nursing and midwifery staff working in general acute, specialist areas and community environments across urban, rural, and regional centres through the development of innovative and dynamic strategies (including simulation) within the education programs.

About your opportunity:
In this position you will...
Coordinate the clinical placements for undergraduate and post graduate students across CHHHS.
Manage day to day activities relevant to clinical placements such as invoices, allocation of Clinical Facilitators (CF) for students and report on student placement activities.
Fosters a positive culture of continuous quality improvement, including exemplary leadership practices and role-modelling behaviours, promoting cooperation and collaborative teamwork.
