The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a second Senior Demand Forecasting Analyst to join our newly created Workforce Planning Centre of Excellence. This role is responsible for developing, enhancing, and owning enterprise workforce demand forecasts across all horizons—long term, medium term, short term, and intraday—supporting operational excellence across Crown’s integrated resorts in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. term, medium term, short term, and intraday—supporting operational excellence across Crown’s integrated resorts in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
This is a pivotal analytical role that shapes workforce demand forecast governance, ensures data integrity, embeds compliance with labour agreements and regulatory standards, and provides insights that improve workforce productivity, guest experience, and operational efficiency across all business units.
You will be responsible for:
Building and enhancing enterprise workforce demand forecasts across all horizons using predictive, statistical and Ai enabled models, ensuring accuracy, explainability, and consistency across properties. enabled models, ensuring accuracy, explainability, and consistency across properties.
Driving automation and data uplift, maintaining a single source of truth, designing dashboards, and improving data pipelines to reduce manual effort and enable self service insights. service insights.
Analysing key workforce demand drivers, conducting variance analysis, running scenario modelling, and translating insights into actionable recommendations that support scheduling, budgeting and operational decisions.
Partnering with Operations, Finance, People & Culture and Workforce Planning teams, presenting insights clearly and helping align workforce demand outputs with business priorities.
Supporting the design and execution of enterprise workforce forecasting standards, including documentation, governance frameworks, labour compliance guardrails, and consistent modelling practices across SYD/MEL/PER.
About You
You are a highly capable analyst with strengths in predictive modelling, operational workforce forecasting, and data storytelling. You thrive in complex, multidiscipline environments and enjoy solving problems through data. You will also bring:
Deep experience in workforce analytics, demand forecasting, operational modelling, or similar analytical roles.
Strong capability in building predictive models, analysing variance, and improving forecasting methodologies.
Experience automating data pipelines, building dashboards, and improving data quality.
Experience working in a unionised workforce planning environment with strong depth of experience in navigating Enterprise Agreements and Labour Laws
High proficiency in analytics tools such as SQL, Python/R, BI platforms, Alteryx , Ai modelling and experience in workforce management systems.
Qualifications in data, analytics, mathematics, economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
