Casual Disability Support Worker - Boronia (Afternoon Crew)

We are on the hunt for a casual Disability Support Worker to join our crew for a fun roster opening in Boronia (and surrounding outer-eastern suburbs).
The Vibe and Pay Rates
This is a flexible casual role that fits perfectly around your uni study, trade, or lifestyle. We pay fully in accordance with the SCHADS Award Pay Guide under the Social and Community Services (SACS) stream (Level 2, Pay Point 4).What you earn (25% Casual Loading Included):
- Weekday Hangouts: $47.16 per hour
- Saturday Adventures (175%): $66.03 per hour
- Sunday Funday (225%): $84.89 per hour
- Public Holidays (275%): $103.76 per hour
- Superannuation: + 12% Super
- Road Trip Perks: An extra $1.00 per kilometre vehicle allowance whenever you cruise around with our participants in your car!
- First Aid Perk: $0.52 per hour first aid allowance.
What a day out looks like:
Your main directive for this shift is to get two active young boys out of the house, burning off energy, and engaging with the world! You won't be hanging around the home - instead, you'll be out and about in the community.
- Outdoor Adventures: Heading straight to local parks, sports fields, playgrounds, or indoor activity centres.
- Active Mentoring: Kicking a footy, shooting hoops, playing tag, and finding fun ways to keep them moving.
- Safe Transport: Picking them up and driving them to their afternoon activities or local community hubs.
- Keep it Real: Writing quick, conversational shift notes to log the wins and highlights of the day.
The Roster Situation:
We are looking for someone to step in on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM to fill in whenever their regular staff are away or on leave.
Because you will be filling in across these days, this is the perfect ongoing pocket-money booster to add to your week!
What you need to bring:
- The Vibe Check: You are active, full of energy, reliable, great at engaging with kids, and love being outdoors.
- Preferences: A male worker is specifically requested by the family for these two young boys to provide a strong, active mentor dynamic.
- Attitude over Everything: Prior experience or a Cert III/IV in Disability is awesome, but your unique personality, life experience, and a genuine heart are what matter most.
The Official Checklist:To get out on the road with our participants, you will need to hold (or be willing to quickly grab) the following:
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police Check (current)
- Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) - renewed within the last 3 years
- Provide CPR (HLTAID009) - renewed within the last 12 months
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence and a reliable car with Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance
