About Q Station
With our stunning harbour location and a short drive from Manly CBD, Q Station offers a range of incredible guest experiences, from boutique accommodation, stunning wedding venues, conference facilities, restaurant and dining options, as well as Sydney's best ghost and history tours.
We are looking for organised and efficient Kitchen Hands to support our busy kitchens. Casual roles available, across weekdays and weekends!
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean all items coming into the dishwasher and wash areas.
- Maintain the sanitation and hygiene standards necessary in a professional kitchen.
- Assist kitchen team members and carry out any other related duties as directed by Senior Chefs.
- Ensures that all dishwasher machinery is working efficiently and that all chemicals being used are safely stored and handled.
- Keep all food and serving areas clean and tidy.
- Handle all glassware, silverware, crockery, pots and pans with care and store neatly and safely as instructed.
- Stack all bottles, cardboard and papers in the respective storage areas and operate and store the cardboard compactor according to the necessary health and safety instructions.
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- A high standard of professional grooming.
- A positive approach to work and excellent communication skills.
- Maintain a current Food Safety certification.
- Australian driver's license is advantageous!
