Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, provide menus, and assist with seating arrangements
- Take and process food and beverage orders accurately, noting dietary requirements or special requests
- Serve meals and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
- Regularly check in with guests, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, including clearing and resetting tables
- Collaborate with the kitchen to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders
- Handle payments and process transactions accurately
- Upsell and promote specials, beverages, and additional menu items
- Accommodate guest requests and provide excellent service
- Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in a similar food and beverage or hospitality role
- Strong knowledge of menu items, with the ability to recommend food, wine, and cocktails (training provided)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and work well in a team
- Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and carry/lift heavy items
