The CIMIC Group is seeking an experienced Senior People & Culture Analyst to lead the transformation of workforce reporting, analytics and data architecture across CPB Contractors.
This is a critical role responsible for modernising People & Culture data infrastructure, transitioning legacy reporting processes into a scalable Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, and delivering high-quality workforce insights that support strategic decision-making.
About the Role
The primary purpose of this role is to design, build and govern a modern People & Culture analytics environment that delivers accurate, secure and actionable workforce insights.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the modernisation of People & Culture reporting through Microsoft Fabric implementation
- Transitioning manual Excel-based reporting into automated, scalable data solutions
- Designing and building Microsoft Fabric lakehouse and warehouse architectures (bronze, silver, gold layers)
- Developing robust data pipelines, transformation logic and governed semantic models
- Delivering workforce analytics across headcount, attrition, diversity, remuneration and compliance
- Providing insights and commentary to support workforce planning and executive decision-making
- Supporting remuneration review processes, including salary modelling, benchmarking and compa-ratio analysis
- Developing reporting solutions for payroll governance, legislative compliance and superannuation requirements
- Ensuring strong data governance, privacy, security and access controls across all People & Culture data

About You – Qualifications & Experience
To be successful, you will bring:
- A degree in Business, Human Resources, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance or a related discipline
- Advanced capability in workforce analytics and statistical reporting
- Strong experience working with HR data, People & Culture metrics and Oracle HCM systems
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and semantic data modelling
- Advanced technical skills in T-SQL, DAX, Power Query (M) and Excel
- Experience in remuneration analytics, salary review modelling and benchmarking
- Strong knowledge of payroll governance, superannuation and workforce compliance requirements
- Proven experience designing modern data models (e.g. star schema, dimensional modelling)
- Strong data engineering capability, including pipelines, transformation and data cleansing
- The ability to translate complex and ambiguous requirements into practical technical solutions
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and presentation skills
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy, governance and confidentiality
- Experience mentoring and building capability within teams
- Experience in the construction and/or natural resources sector is desirable but not required
