Customer Service Excellence
- Provide a welcoming and professional service to all guests, ensuring their dining or event experience is seamless and memorable.
- Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and special requests with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Deliver personalized service, anticipating guest needs to exceed expectations.
General Dining Service
- Present menus, explain dishes and beverages, and offer tailored recommendations, including signature cocktails/mocktails and tea pairings.
- Ensure timely and accurate order-taking, food delivery, and table maintenance.
- Maintain high standards of table setup and cleanliness for both regular dining and private events.
Event Dining and Private Dining
- Ensure setup meets the standards for private dining and event spaces.
- Adhere to client specifications and dietary requirements while maintaining One Dining's quality standards.
Operational Duties
- Maintain service areas, ensuring cleanliness, readiness, and proper stock levels.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and operational protocols.
- Support the team during peak periods and ensure smooth communication between FOH and BOH teams.
Key Skills and Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a premium dining or fine dining restaurant.
- Alternatively, a minimum of 3 years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- A strong understanding of food and beverage service, including event and private dining etiquette.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and professionalism.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Mandarin speaking skills are considered an advantage.
Essential Qualifications
- RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Experience with event hosting or private dining service is highly desirable.
