Commercial & Contracts Consultants to join our team on a permanent basis. We are looking for multi-skilled, flexible, hardworking people who are keen to grow their career within a leading Defence supplier.
These roles will be Sydney or Canberra based and will play a critical part in delivering the latest in Naval capability technology to our Defence Force.
Experience in Defence environments and
ASDEFCON contracts is essential to be successful in these roles.
What will I be doing day to day?
- Provide administrative support to commercial and contract management activities
- Assist with the preparation, review and management of ASDEFCON contracts
- Support contract renewals, extensions and new contract activities
- Coordinate and maintain commercial documentation, records and artefacts
- Review existing contracts for fitness‑for‑purpose and identifying improvements
- Support procurement and commercial workflows in line with Defence processes and policies
- Liaise with Defence stakeholders, contractors and industry partners
- Maintain accurate records and documentation with Objective
- Ensure documentation is compliant, up to date and audit‑ready
What sort of skills do I need?
- 3–5 years’ experience in Defence commercial administration, procurement support or contract management
- Demonstrated experience working with ASDEFCON contracts
- Understanding of Defence procurement processes and contract lifecycles
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Experience preparing and managing commercial and contract artefacts
- Ability to review contracts and provide practical improvement recommendations
- Confidence using Objective or similar Defence record management systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- Australian citizenship & current AGSVA security clearance
