Job Description – Dispatch Coordinator

The Role
We are looking for a Warehouse Dispatch Coordinator. This role acts as the primary point of contact between the warehouse and the sales/customer service team.
The position will start on a casual basis, with the opportunity to transition to full-time for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Dispatch & Warehouse
- Prepare and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Create freight and shipping labels for outgoing orders
- Check and verify orders prior to dispatch
- Operate a forklift safely and in accordance with the employee's forklift licence, where applicable
- Support general warehouse operations and dispatch duties as required
Sales & Customer Service Support
- Act as the primary contact for the sales/customer service team regarding order status enquiries
- Print "Ready" orders for warehouse allocation
- Assist in maintaining accurate customer order and dispatch records
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
- Understanding of freight companies and warehouse dispatch processes
- Forklift licence highly regarded, but not essential
Pay: From $32.00 per hour
