Are you an experienced Dental Assistant looking for a long term role in a modern, patient focused practice?
We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our friendly team on a permanent part time basis, working Tuesday and Thursday each week, with an additional day on either Monday or Wednesday.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both chairside assisting and interacting with patients at reception, and who takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care.
About the Role
You will work closely with our dentists to provide high quality clinical support while assisting with the smooth day to day operation of the practice.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Chairside assistance across a wide range of dental procedures
- Instrument reprocessing and sterilisation in accordance with infection control standards
- Surgery preparation and turnaround
- Assisting with digital radiographs and intraoral scanning (training provided where required)
- Managing clinical stock and laboratory cases
- Greeting patients and assisting with reception duties as required
- Scheduling appointments, answering phones and providing outstanding customer service
- Working collaboratively with the clinical and reception teams
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has at least 2 years' experience as a Dental Assistant
- Is confident assisting with general dental procedures
- Has excellent infection control knowledge
- Is comfortable assisting at reception when required
- Is organised, proactive and able to work independently
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with EXACT software is an advantage but not essential
