The Role
Smart Design Studio is recruiting for the newly created role of Bid Manager to lead our business and client development strategies.
The successful candidate will:
– Carry out insightful market research and analysis
– Create high-quality and competitive responses to tenders and bids
– Create dynamic marketing materials (external and internal)
– Procure meaningful client feedback
– Take prompt and responsive action to business development
initiatives and other requirements
Key Responsibilities
– Bid strategy and planning
– Bid coordination and management
– Content development and maintenance
– Collaborate with project leads to develop clear, compelling winstrategies tailored to each opportunity
– Coordinate internal bid reviews and strategy meetings with design teams
and senior stakeholders.
– Working closely with all stakeholders and the Marketing Design Manager
to produce visually engaging and well-structured proposals.
– Supporting Smart Design Studio brand/promotions in line with
SDS vision and strategy
– Build and maintain a comprehensive bid library of high-quality, reusable
content and visual assets
– Assist with Awards submissions, publications, collateral etc
– Support production of promotional materials as well as bid and marketing
collateral
We are looking for someone who can lead our bid process, take responsibility from end to end on all bids and submissions and ensure SDS is a competitive contender.
We seek someone who has at least 5-10 years’ bids experience in the architecture, engineering or construction industries.
Salary range commensurate with experience.
