THE ROLE
Our Casual Wellness & Hygiene team members are responsible for the day-to-day presentation and overall cleanliness and aesthetic appearance of Scape assets. We are seeking an enthusiastic Housekeeper to join our Wellness & Hygiene team in Melbourne. In this role, your key responsibilities are as follows:
- Daily cleaning of public areas including common rooms, lounges, theatre, outdoor terraces, gym and laundry, corridors, and stairwells
- Being fully aware with health and safety obligations
- Weekly room cleaning and bed making for residents as required
- Participating in building open days and tours
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are seeking enthusiastic self-starters with the following skills and experience:
- High attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and multitask
- Can work in team or individual setting
- Ability to work with and relate to young adults while also maintaining professional and cultural sensitivity and boundaries
- 1-2 years' experience as a public area cleaner in a large commercial environment or room attendant in a 4 – 5 star hotel environment
Please note: The successful candidate must be willing to undertake a National Police Check and a Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to starting in the position.
